We collect Customer Information if you visit our Web sites to register, apply for lease, purchase a product or inquire about our products and services.

HOW DOES MOTORCYCLEGROUP USE THE INFORMATION?

These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. HOW DOES MOTORCYCLEGROUP MODIFY ITS PRIVACY POLICY?

Changes to the Privacy Policy will be posted here. If our privacy practices extend the scope of our current privacy practices, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you and obtain consent from you or give an opportunity to opt-out when required by law in advance of those changes.

US PATRIOT ACT PROCEDURES AND NOTICE

Section 326 of the Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act of 2001 (USA PATRIOT Act) and its implementing regulations (31 CFR 103.121) require us to:

  • Notify our customers of our US Patriot Act Procedures
    1. We deliver a written notice and include a notice on our Web site, announcing our practice of requesting information to verify the identities of our customers for purposes of the customer identification procedures required by the USA PATRIOT Act.
  • Verify the identity of any person applying for a lease, to the extent reasonable and practicable.
    1. We rely on the name, date of birth, residential address and taxpayer identification number provided by you.
    2. We may rely on documents such as government-issued identification evidencing nationality or residence and bearing a photograph and/or signature such as a driver’s license, an identification card or a passport.
  • Maintain records of the information used to verify the person’s identity, including name, address, and other identifying information.
    1. We will preserve the information used for this procedure for at least five years from the date of lease termination.
  • Determine whether the person appears on any lists of known or suspected terrorists or terrorist organizations provided to the financial institution by any government agency.
    1. MotorcycleGroup compares the name of each borrower to any list of known or suspected terrorists or terrorist organizations issued by any federal government agency and designated as such by the Treasury Department in consultation with the federal functional regulators. We do this within 30 business days after the lease application.
